Las empresas que realizamos auditorias e inspecciones de inocuidad, nos hemos visto en la
necesidad de atender a nuestros clientes, durante este período de aislamiento de manera
virtual, para que de esta manera los sistemas de gestión no se vean afectados.
Esta alternativa ha sido propuesta y ejecutada por BRC, aunque no es aceptada por GFSI.
La alternativa es que las empresas se presenten a la auditoria física en un plazo máximo
que cada ORGANISMO DE CERTIFICACIÓN lo ha definido.
BRC estableció un plazo máximo de 6 meses; nosotros en FOOD KNOWLEDGE hemos establecido un
pazo de 4 meses.

Remote audits are the same as onsite audits, but are conducted off-site using video conferencing and virtual technology to collect audit evidence. Auditors conducting remote audits will assess the same criteria as in an on-site audit (document review, site tour, interviews, presentation of findings). By opting for a remote audit, your audit program will be able to be kept on schedule all while maximizing time by focusing on your product and process.
Items you will need to prepare for your remote audit:
- Personnel – key personnel will need to be available throughout the entire audit to complete tasks and answer questions if/when they arise
- Documentation – documentation will be requested so the auditor can review remotely
- Site Availability – have someone available to walk the auditor through your facility using a web camera
- Internet Connection – a reliable and secure WIFI connection will be necessary to conduct a remote audit
